It is always good to travel within Europe as most of directions could be reached in few hours time. Warsaw is one of these great places!
This year exhibition was held in two hotels and huge national stadium. We stayed for all three days so there would be time to carefully listen to each system, enjoy hotel bars and Warsaw restaurants.
Organization was done at a proper level, everything was easy to find and Uber appeared to be very cheap here. All visitors could get brochures with detailed map of rooms and exhibitors. Sweets, biscuits, water and in some special rooms wine and nice champaign were available as well.
Overall this was more a hi-fi show, however some pretty expensive systems were available as well. Radisson Blue hotel offered lots of small rooms with more traditional home acoustics. Quite a lot of local manufacturers could be observed here, all were very friendly and informative. Golden Tulip hotel had more spacious rooms, but much less exhibitors unfortunately as we allocated a day here. One of the most well known Polish brands Lampizator had a specially created perfume in his room. Some tracks like Hugh Masekela’s Stimela sounded simply terrific. National Stadium was vast and really took a day to enjoy. Besides expensive high end systems, lots of spacious rooms and portable audio as well as video gear and smart houses’ solutions were presented here.
All in all we enjoyed Warsaw very much, systems like Lampizator, Boenicke, MBL, Gauder magically sound even after a week time in our memory.
